Cognizant has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 3Cloud, one of the largest independent Microsoft Azure services providers with strong capabilities in AI enablement, data modernization, and cloud platforms. The acquisition will expand Cognizant’s Azure portfolio and strengthen its position in enterprise AI transformation by integrating 3Cloud’s expertise in app innovation, analytics, and cloud engineering (Read).

ZS Names Sunil Dixit as CPO

ZS has appointed Sunil Dixit as its new Chief Product Officer, marking a key addition to the firm’s platforms and products business. Based in San Francisco, Dixit brings more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software, having held senior roles at Salesforce, Numerify, IRI Worldwide, and most recently at Clearwater Analytics, where he led global product strategy. L.E.K. Tracks China’s Expanding Clinical Trial Role

L.E.K. Consulting, in collaboration with PharmaDJ, has released “Advancing Innovation and Global Reach: The Next Chapter in China’s Clinical Trial Development,” a report examining how China’s clinical development ecosystem is entering a significant phase marked by stronger innovation, wider international participation, and greater use of AI-driven tools. The analysis shows China’s clinical trial volume has climbed to about 80% of U.S. levels and roughly 10% above the EU in 2024, underscoring its rising global research role (Read).

Booz Allen Secures Naval Contract

Booz Allen Hamilton has secured a $99 million contract from the U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command (MSC) to engineer, deploy, and maintain advanced wireless networks across its government-operated ships. The company will equip vessels in the Pacific, Europe, and the United States with secure connectivity supported by Low Earth Orbit satellites, modern wireless systems, Wi-Fi technologies, and 5G communications (Read).

CGI to Support HMRC’s Integration Services

CGI has secured a contract worth up to about $313 million over five years to operate and maintain integration services for His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC). Under the agreement, CGI will work alongside HMRC’s in-house team to manage interfaces, APIs, and messaging services that support the department’s daily operations and long-term digital transformation. The firm will also deliver new integrations to support major transformation programs in line with HMRC’s Transformation Roadmap (Read).
